Happitat opened on 21 August 2026 in Bangna, across 200,000 square metres at the entrance to The Forestias. CP Axtra developed it. Foster and Partners masterplanned the site with Thai landscape architects TK Studio and environmental consultancy Atelier Ten, whose earlier work includes Jewel Changi Airport. Former Disney Imagineer Bill Coan contributed to the design.

The three buildings at Happitat and what each one holds
Bloominas, the shopping and dining building
The premium end of the complex. Restaurants, cafés, shopping, IT and tech, health and wellness across several floors. Its Grand Stairs carry a 385 square metre indoor digital screen, described as the largest and highest-resolution indoor screen in Southeast Asia, running a programme that rotates through the year.
Wonderwild, the family building
Built around children. A sky playground, a fantasy setting, a Forest School and edutainment activities. The Whimsical Market inside it holds more than 60 restaurants and cafés on its own, plus roaming characters and a light-and-sound show.
Check age limits, supervision rules, sock requirements and session lengths before you travel. Several activities restrict entry by height or age, and finding that out at the door with a disappointed child is a poor start to the day.
Festie Town, the events building
A semi-outdoor, pet-friendly event space hosting festivals through the year. Worth checking the schedule before you go, since the programme changes the character of the whole complex on event weekends.
Behind all three buildings sits more than 30 rai of forest, around 48,000 square metres, with pocket gardens on every floor feeding into it. Locals have started calling it the urban lung of Bangna.
Where to eat at Happitat with 100 restaurants to choose from
More than 100 restaurants and cafés serve over 3,000 menu items across the complex, running from chef-led kitchens and Bib Gourmand eateries to dessert shops and international chains.
Several openings are firsts. CHAGEE opened its first pet-friendly branch in Thailand here. Sostare Gelato took its first shopping-centre location. CTM, a premium tea concept from ChaTraMue, trades here, as does Yuan Ji Dumpling. Forist Delight runs an edible-forest theme.

How to get to Happitat from central Bangkok
Happitat is not on the BTS. That single fact drives the rest of your planning.
- Free shuttle from BTS Udom Suk. The most common route. Shuttles depart around every 30 minutes.
- Free shuttle from MRT Yellow Line Si Iam station. The other rail connection.
- BTS Punnawithi, exit 6. Walk to the Cloud 11 development, then take the free shuttle from there.
- Public bus. Several routes stop near Prince Suvarnabhumi Hospital, followed by a walk to the complex.
- By car. About 30 minutes from central Bangkok in normal traffic, on Bangna-Trat Road at KM 7.
Reports after opening suggest shuttle reservations may need making at least 15 minutes before departure. Confirm on the official Getting Here page before you travel, since the operator has adjusted the schedule since August.

Happitat is the rare Bangkok attraction where transport creates real friction rather than a matter of taste. The rail route means BTS to Udom Suk, then a shuttle running at 30-minute intervals, then the same in reverse at the end of a long day with shopping bags and tired children.
