At Go Thai Transport, we believe transparency is the key to a stress-free travel experience. Whether you’re heading from Bangkok to Pattaya, Khao Yai, Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, or Hua Hin, our pricing policies are designed to be fair, upfront, and easy to understand. This blog explains what’s included in your quote, potential extra charges, and how to avoid them—so you can focus on enjoying Thailand’s beauty, not worrying about hidden fees.
What’s Included in Your Price?
Your quote covers everything you need for a smooth ride:
- Toll Fees: All highway charges are pre-calculated.
- Fuel Costs: Petrol is included, no matter the distance.
- Parking Fees: We handle parking at destinations like malls, hotels, or attractions.
Example: A trip from Bangkok to Hua Hin includes tolls for the Highway and parking at your hotel.
Please note: We provide transportation services only. All attraction tickets, meals, and entrance fees are excluded from our pricing.
Additional Charges: What to Know
While we aim to keep pricing simple, extra fees apply in specific scenarios:
- Waiting Time Fees
- Free Waiting Period: 30 minutes after your scheduled pickup time.
- After 30 Minutes:
Standard Vehicles (Sedan/SUV/Commuter Van): 200 THB
Luxury All New VIP8 Van and Toyota Alphard: 400 THB
Note:
This fee applies only to hotel and residence pickups. (Not Applicable for Airport pickups).
Why? Delays affect driver schedules and subsequent bookings.
Tip: For airport pickups, provide your flight number—we track delays automatically!
2. Uncommunicated Changes to Your Itinerary
Changing your plans without notifying our team might incur extra fees. This includes:
- Changing Pickup/Destination:
Switching from Bangkok to Pattaya to an unplanned stop in Ayutthaya adds distance and toll costs.
- Ignoring Agreed Departure Times:
Delaying a hotel/residence pickup by more than 30 minutes without notice = waiting fees. - Adding destinations outside the original route (e.g., a stop in Chonburi District during a Bangkok day trip) will incur additional fees based on distance and time.
- While we allow short rest stops (max 15 minutes at petrol stations), extended meal breaks at restaurants require prior notice and may be subject to waiting fees – ONLY applicable for transfer trip.
Why? Last-minute changes disrupt driver schedules and incur unexpected costs (e.g., fuel and missed bookings). We also want to optimise the trip by making sure our customers do not spend more time on the road with heavy traffic.
How to Avoid Extra Fees
- Confirm Details Early: Double-check pickup times, destinations, and passenger numbers with our admin team before booking.
- Notify Us Immediately: Need to adjust your trip? Message us via WhatsApp before departure.
- Stick to the Plan: Avoid unplanned detours (e.g., adding a stop at a Kanchanaburi waterfall) unless cleared with us.
Payment Options
We offer flexible, secure payment methods:
- Cash (THB): Pay to driver directly at the end of each trip.
- Online Payments:
- PayNow to Thailand PromptPay: Ideal for cross-border transfers (e.g., from Singapore).
- BCA Bank Transfer (for Indonesia customers)
- WISE Payment: Low-cost international transfers.
- Credit Card via Stripe: A +10% processing fee applies.
Always Review: Check our refund policy before paying.
FAQs
Q: Why is there a +10% fee for credit cards?
A: This covers transaction charges from third party payment gateway. Save costs by using PayNow, BCA or WISE!
Q: What if I change my destination without telling Go Thai Transport?
A: Example: Rerouting from Bangkok to Hua Hin to an unplanned stop in Khao Yai adds distance/time fees. Always inform us first!
Q: Can I make an advance deposit or full payment for my trip?
A: Absolutely! To secure your booking, we require a 40% deposit of the total trip cost.
Why Pay in Full Upfront?
For the smoothest experience, we highly recommend settling the full payment in advance. This way, you can focus entirely on enjoying your journey without worrying about payments during your trip.
How Deposits Work:
If you choose the 40% deposit option, here’s how it’s applied:
- Your deposit is deducted from the final day’s payment of your trip.
- Daily payments are made for each day before the deposit is applied.
Example:
Total 3-Day Trip Cost: 3,000 THB
- Deposit Paid: 1,200 THB (40%)
Payment Schedule:
Day 1: 1,000 THB (paid upfront)
Day 2: 800 THB (paid with deposit: 200 THB, remaining balance 800 THB to be paid upfront)
Day 3: 1,000 THB (paid with deposit: 1,000 THB)

Google Reviews:
“This service is almost the same cost as any general taxi service, but the experience is extremely different. First, the customer service on WhatsApp was outstanding, fast, very clear and details were confirmed many times. The price was very competitive and clearly stated that we would need to pay for the ferry portion. Second, our driver was so friendly and kind, Thai roads are not easy, but he drove so well, we all slept and just relaxed. I’m booking this service again to my next destination and then to the airport. If you want to travel stress free and enjoy your time, contact this company. Best in Thailand!” – Tasha Poduska
“Excellent service and communication from thai transport. After we incorrectly confirmed our hotel details they were able to deploy a new vehicle to pick us up and still get us to the airport on time. We were exceptionally impressed how they managed to accommodate this without any additional expense to us and with a polite acceptance of our apology. Thank you! All the best for 2025!” – Liat Beinart
